A new benefit to Amazon Prime.

Amazon and Grubhub announced a partnership yesterday, allowing Amazon members in the U.S. to get food delivered directly to their doorsteps.
All Amazon customers can now order from restaurants in all fifty states via Amazon.com, with the deliveries taking place via Grubhub. Deliveries can be placed on both Amazon's website and the mobile app.

If you're a Prime member, the deal is a little sweeter, expanding on the benefits of being a part of Amazon's loyalty program (which costs $139 annually). The two companies announced that Prime members can enjoy the additional perks of a Grubhub+ membership, without automatically renewing or paying the standard $120 per year fee. With Grubhub+, users can enjoy $0 delivery fees on orders over $12, and other exclusive offers.

This will link your Amazon account to Grubhub. If you're a Prime member, you can unlock Grubhub+ here.
Step 5:Browse restaurants.
You'll be redirected to Grubhub, where you can browse for the restaurants or food items you're looking for.

And there you go! The delivery will be brought to your door.

Amazon Prime members can get all the benefits of a Grubhub+ membership for free, which includes unlimited $0 delivery fees, reduced service fees, 5% Grubhub+ credit back on pickup orders, and exclusive offers on eligible orders.
You can find almost everything on Amazon, including restaurant food delivery. And if you pay for Amazon Prime, the delivery part is free. Amazon now offers Grubhub on Amazon.com and the Amazon Shopping app.
You can cancel your Grubhub+ membership at any time by visiting the "Manage apps & services with data access" within the "Your Account" page on Amazon and unlinking your Grubhub and Amazon accounts. You can also contact Grubhub customer support to help cancel your Grubhub+ membership.
Amazon Announces Grubhub+ as Ongoing Prime Member Offer; Customers Can Now Order Grubhub Directly from Amazon.com and the Amazon Shopping App. Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) and Grubhub (LSE: JET, AMS: TKWY) today announced they are partnering to make restaurant delivery to customers' doors more convenient and affordable.
Visit amazon.com/grubhub. Hit "Activate now." Sign into your Grubhub account or create an account. Agree to the terms and conditions to connect your Prime and Grubhub accounts and to share your Prime membership status with Grubhub. Once you provide your address, the site will show you restaurant menus near you.
If an Amazon Prime eligible item isn't available for One-Day Delivery, Amazon Prime members get Prime and Standard Delivery at no extra cost. Delivery may require a signature. Selected delivery options usually apply across business days, including Saturdays, unless otherwise specified.
Products eligible for Amazon Prime will be designated on the product page and at checkout. If only some items in your purchase are eligible for Amazon Prime, you'll be charged applicable shipping fees for the ineligible items. Items sold by Amazon.com that are marked on the product page and at checkout.
What is cheaper: Uber Eats, Grubhub or DoorDash? DoorDash is nearly $10 cheaper than Grubhub and about $6 cheaper than Uber Eats, making it the least expensive option.
Any item with "FREE Shipping" on the product detail page that is fulfilled and shipped by Amazon is eligible and contributes to your free shipping order minimum. You get unlimited FREE Two-Day Shipping on eligible items with Amazon Prime, with no minimum spend.
Tap on the order you want to cancel to open up a page with the order details. Grubhub states that orders cannot be canceled once the restaurant starts preparing the food. This is true, although you should still be able to contact a Grubhub agent and describe your reason for cancellation at any point in the process.
You cannot close your account from the mobile app even though you can cancel your membership; since a link is involved to close and delete your account, you'll have to use a web browser.
Delisting its U.S. shares will reduce costs and reporting complexity, the company says. The sale of its U.S. unit Grubhub is thus not indexed, said CEO Jitse Groen. As announced in early February 2022, the company delisted its American Depositary Receipts ("ADRs") from the Nasdaq Global Select Market on March 14, 2022.
Visit Amazon.com/Fresh to see if delivery or pickup is available in your area. Orders over $100 with a 2-hour delivery window are free with Prime and do not incur a service fee. Delivery orders under $100 with 2-hour delivery windows include a service fee of $6.95 for orders $50-$100, and $9.95 for orders under $50.
